About me
Anja Ferenčić is a Croatian tattoo artist, entrepreneur, and the creative mind behind Forever Yours Tattoo Studio in Rijeka. She founded the studio in 2016, building it from the ground up into one of Croatia’s most respected and artistically driven tattoo spaces.
Tattooing happened to Anja almost by accident. Originally, her true passion was painting, and she still considers herself first and foremost a painter and visual artist. Tattooing became a natural extension of her artistic journey—a new medium through which she could express her creativity and connect with people in a deeply personal way. Even today, Anja remains dedicated to painting and is constantly involved in various artistic projects, always seeking new ways to merge fine art and tattooing.
Forever Yours Tattoo Studio is more than just a tattoo shop; it is a creative hub where art, community, and professionalism come together. Under Anja’s leadership, the studio has become known for its conceptual approach, focus on quality over quantity, and a strong commitment to building lasting relationships with clients. Every tattoo is treated as a unique story, developed through careful consultation and a deep understanding of the client’s vision.
Anja’s work has been featured in major Croatian media, where she is recognized for her innovative perspective and her role in elevating tattooing to the level of fine art. Her clients include both local and international art lovers who appreciate her dedication to authenticity and artistic integrity.
Outside of her professional life, Anja is passionate about tennis and enjoys playing in her free time. She is also a strong advocate for a holistic approach to life, incorporating meditation, healthy nutrition, and mindful living into her daily routine. This philosophy not only fuels her creativity but also helps her maintain balance and longevity in her demanding career.
With her independent spirit, artistic vision, and holistic lifestyle, Anja Ferenčić continues to inspire both clients and fellow artists—proving that tattooing, painting, and personal growth can all be beautifully intertwined.
Work Process - Black & Grey Realism
I work with a limited number of clients and accept projects that align with my style and artistic direction. Before reaching out, I recommend carefully reviewing my portfolio to gain a clear understanding of my work. I do not adapt my style to trends; I work within an авторial approach that I fully stand behind.
I ask clients to provide general guidance regarding subject matter and atmosphere. All compositional and aesthetic decisions are made by me, ensuring that the final result is balanced, high-quality, and readable on the skin in the long term. Trust in the process is essential for the best outcome.
The entire process is divided into three phases: communication, design, and tattooing. Each phase is handled and charged separately.
The design phase takes place before tattooing begins. A tattoo design is not a sketch, but a complete composition that considers proportions, balance, contrast, and the flow of the piece with the body. The design fee ranges from €300 to €1,000, depending on the size and complexity of the tattoo, and is paid upfront. The price includes one complete design solution; additional designs or major revisions are charged separately.
The design is created on a pre-booked design day and delivered the day after the design appointment, in a fully developed and shaded form. Before the first tattoo session, the design must be fully defined and approved. Any design work carried out on the day of tattooing is considered professional work and does not affect the session price.
Tattooing is scheduled after the design phase is completed. For black & grey realism, the price of a full-day session is €1,000 + VAT, charged after each completed session. Sessions can be scheduled according to the client’s preferences and availability, with recommended breaks to allow proper healing.
For a realistic full sleeve for example, an rough estimate is 6–7 full-day sessions, depending on the complexity of the design and the skin’s response.
Both the client and I reserve the right to end the collaboration at any time if the process or communication is no longer working for either side. In such cases, all work completed up to that point must be paid in full.
